  My experience in office was fine, and the cash price as someone who can't afford health insurance was worth it to start feeling better. However I spoke three times in 4 hours with their office staff about my prescription never arriving at my pharmacy and each time was given a different story. The first time I was told my fax hadn't gone through and they were resending. Second time I was told it had been faxed w a confirmation at 2:20 and to give it some time (it was 3) to catch up to my pharmacy. At 4:40 I called my pharmacy for the upteenth time and was told they were caught up on all prescriptions and there was nothing from Porter Clinic for me. I called the clinic the third time and the same woman who told me it had been faxed then told me they don't get started when it is a busy day w sending prescriptions out till after their last patient at 3:45. When I explained the office had told me they had confirmation at 2:20 she changed her tune stating she remembered speaking with me and would call my pharmacy herself to straighten out the issue and Call me back. This was 20 min before closing and like a fool I waited. No call from them back to me. They are closed and their answering service can't help me. My pharmacy never was called and never got a fax. The doctors office lied to me (on more than one occasion) but my bank account was drafted. So I'll be sitting outside at 8 am to get a written rx and canceling my future appointment that they said I needed in two weeks and going somewhere with a competent staff. I waited all weekend for Monday to make an appointment, I am exhausted and sick, contagious and can't go to work where I touch patients all day and I can't even kiss my children because of this staphylococcus infection.
